Upcoming educational events

21 september 2022

Within the coming months several educational programs and symposia will be held. Below a brief
introduction of two initiatives.

24th and 25th of November:
Preceptorship CAR T-cell therapy & allogeneic stem cell transplantation

The Preceptorship is a highly practical and interactive live forum, organized by
the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology (Utrecht, The Netherlands). It
provides a unique opportunity for pediatric oncologists and hematologists
(whether or not in training), or other experts in the field, to interact with
leading Dutch and international faculty in order to increase clinical
knowledge, apply new data to practice, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Main topics will be allogeneic stem cell transplantation and CAR T-cell therapy, during
this focused and interactive postgraduate educational program.

2nd of December:
Pharmacology symposium ‘precision dosing’

This symposium will be entirely devoted to pharmacological research in paediatric
oncology, focused on individualized dosing, pharmacokinetic modelling,
therapeutic drug monitoring, drug formulations and pharmacogenomics and is
especially for (paediatric) oncologists, (hospital) pharmacists (in training),
clinical pharmacologists (in training), researchers and (research) nurses.

The symposium is organized by the Huitema Group and will take place in the Princess
Máxima Center (offered in hybrid format).

Don’t miss
it and save the date in your agenda! Registration will be open soon.
