Master Course in Pediatric Oncology

24 januari 2024

Do you wish to expand your knowledge as a professional in peadiatric oncology? Join the Master Course in 2024 and 2025.

The Master Course is a theoretical and applied curriculum for colleagues active in pediatric oncology who wish to be trained at an advanced level, like fellows in pediatric oncology, early- and mid-career pediatric oncologists and other colleagues who wish to expand their knowledge in pediatric oncology. This course is endorsed by SIOP.

The Master Course is organized by the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology (Utrecht, The Netherlands), the largest teaching and research hospital for pediatric oncology in Europe. It consists of four modules: General aspects, Hemato oncology, Neuro oncology and Solid tumors. All Modules can be followed in sequence, but also separately.

The ‘live days’ of the first module General aspects will take place on April 18 & 19, 2024 at the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in hybrid form.

These live days are accompanied by a comprehensive online pre- and post-program that can be followed in a self-paced manner during the month preceding and the month following the two live days. During the live days, topics are explored in greater depth during hands-on sessions which are given by national and international experts in the field. The sessions are aimed at knowledge sharing and training of clinical and professional skills. In addition, challenges when working in low recourse settings are discussed during parallel expert sessions.

EACCME accreditation has been requested.

Check the flyer or go to the event website for more information about the program and registration.

A few scholarships for participants from low-and-middle income countries are still available.

  • MC 4.3 Neuro oncology – April 24 & 25, 2025
  • MC 4.4 Solid tumors – November 13 & 14, 2025
